Labor Day 2011
Karaoke
This year the weather karaoke night was great and we were able to hold it outside. Thanks to Dave and Joe for the great entertainment. We had more participants and observers this year. Halloween Parade
1st place lot 290 Letourneau and Lucas 2nd place Lot 173 Julie Malley
We were so thankful that the rain stopped and the roads dried up before the parade and trick or treating. There were many participants this year in the parade and everyone did a nice job decorating.

Poker Run
A poker run was held on Sunday afternoon. This year there were 34 teams participating with 7 stops. The teams were given a card after completing a task. There was much laughter and a lot of fun. The task pictured was guess the candy bar in the diaper.

Christmas in
July was held on Saturday, July 23, 2011. It was a very hot July day -
The Santa parade went through the park at around 8:00 p.m. Santa
stopped on route to play volleyball. The parade was followed by a visit
with Santa for the children.
Winners of the best dressed lot were:
1st Place Lot 285/286 Belanger with lots of white lights and music
2nd Place Lot 117/118 Kellar with lots of bows, lights and dancing
snowmen.
Winners of the best dressed golf cart were:
1st place Lot 34 - Cathy Timmons & Sammi Allen(the hula girl)
These gals had the golf cart all decked out for a Hawaiian Christmas
complete with music!
Cathy stopped occasionally and Sammi entertained people by dancing the
hula -

2011 Memorial
Fishing Derby
The fishing derby was a
success with 43 participants, the weather was a little cooler and
the fish were not biting as much as they have in the past. The kids
really had to work to catch these fish.
Winners in the 6 and under were: Largest fish Taylor 7 1/2", most
fish Derrick and Taylor both 4 fish each
7-10
ages: Largest fish Carley Malinowski 7 3/4" and most fish
Carley 5 fish
11 and
over: Largest fish Jacob Pierce 21"pike, most fish Grant
Janicek and Louis Garcia 4 fish each.
We would like to thank Don and Sharon Pierce for coordinating this
event, and all their helpers. Each participant was given a good
sport fishing award and a dollar coin. Great Job kids!
2011 Memorial Weekend Karaoke
The recreation committee would like to give a huge thanks Dave Lucas and
Joe Letourneau and their families for coordinating the 2011 Memorial
Weekend Karaoke. A great time was had by all who attended. We have some
great singers in our campground! The singing went on until midnight.
Our participants had 4,500 songs to choose from wasn't easy to choose.
Dave and Joe worked through out the winter organizing songs, printing
books, gathering new speakers for the recreation hall and installing the
speakers inside and outside. Fantastic job guys.
